With over 16 years behind the lens, photography isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. What started as a high school passion quickly turned into a lifelong love affair with capturing real moments, real people, and real joy.

I’m a devoted wife, proud mom to seven amazing kids (yes, seven 😅), and blessed grandma to two beautiful grandchildren who completely own my heart. Life in our home is loud, busy, and full — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Faith, family, and dogs are at the center of everything I do. If there’s a golden retriever nearby, we’re probably already friends. 🐾 My faith keeps me grounded, my family keeps me humble, and photography lets me freeze the moments that matter most.

I specialize in capturing candid connections, meaningful milestones, and the kind of images that feel like you. Whether it’s seniors stepping into their future, couples celebrating love, or families soaking in a season of life, my goal is simple: create photos that feel natural, joyful, and timeless.

Hello, I am Sami

I joined Sam Blake Photography back in 2015 alongside my mom, and somewhere between carrying camera bags and watching sessions unfold, I completely fell in love with photography. What started as tagging along turned into finding my own creative groove — and now I get to do what I love every single day.

I specialize in sports photography, senior portraits, and couples sessions — basically anything with energy, emotion, and a little personality. Give me stadium lights, golden hour glow, or two people who can’t stop laughing, and I’m in my element. I live for the action shots, the candid smiles, and those blink-and-you-miss-it moments.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me with my nose in a book (yes, I’m that girl 📚) or out on the softball field. Sports have shaped so much of who I am, which is probably why I love capturing athletes doing what they love most.

Photography isn’t just taking pictures to me — it’s telling stories, celebrating milestones, and making people feel confident in front of the camera. And trust me, I will absolutely show you the back of the camera and say, “STOP. That’s so good!” at least once during your session.
